Like, maybe one game has a futuristic focus, and another is set in the past? Maybe one is faster paced, and another slower? Maybe one lets you level up against bots, and another doesn't? Maybe one lets you play on several different game modes and maps, and another is heavily restricted? That kind of stuff.Ĭould anyone here offer me a brief outline or something as to how the titles differ in regards to this specific mode of play and feature? And yes, I'm well aware nothing will match normal MP. However, this is not the only thing that influences me, as I'm also curious as to differences in tone, environments, weaponry, all that sort of stuff, in addition to what modes are available in each title that work with the bots.

I'm ASSUMING that the newer the game, the better the bot AI would be. However, I have no idea where to go for the best experience, or rather, what I would enjoy the most. I'm not into CoD (played a few older campaigns, including 1, 2, 4, WaW, but found all of them exceptionally boring as single player experiences when compared to the likes of Doom/Quake/Blood/any of the newer old-school shooters like Ultrakill/Amid Evil/Prodeus/Wrath ect ect ect, not just in terms of gameplay, but in terms of a high lack of visceral feedback as well from any titles except WaW SOMETIMES), but I was kind of interested in trying out the bot deathmatch stuff meant to emulate a multiplayer experience (though I don't actually want to get into the MP).
